Georgy Voronoy

Georgy Feodosevich Voronoy was a Russian and Ukrainian mathematician. Among other things, he defined the Voronoi diagram.

Voronoy was born in the village of Zhuravky, district of Pyriatin, in Poltava Governorate of the Russian Empire .
